Hi! I'm Rebecca and I started The Wired Whim in 2005. I'd been making jewelry since I was a teenager. I finally had made too much jewelry to wear and decided to sell my designs. I got into wirework because of the limitless possibilities of not only making jewelry with just wire, but also taking glass and stones and enhancing their beauty with wire.
My mom joined me on the journey and now we both make jewelry. You will always see us both at the shows, laughing and loving every minute!
Jewelry-making is my summer job, as I teach English at a university during the school year. I also love spending time with my husband and my son (5) and daughter (3), and my 2 cats.
